This is true, but the main benefit of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids is preventing cancer, cardiovascular disease, RA, and other disorders. Since I’ve cut meat and fish out of my diet, my cancer and cardiovascular disease risk is significantly reduced. I’m not sure about RA, but I’m sure that I can receive arthritis prevention from my consumption of other food products. I still...

Yes, but you can get them from plant sources as well. I keep a food diary everyday, just to make sure that I’m meeting my nutritional needs. I’ve never been lacking in omega-3 or omega-6 fatty acids. Just sayin’.

Okay, I’m not debating the fact that fish oil can have beneficial effects on the human body. I don’t consume fish products because of ethical issues - hence why I’m a vegetarian. Also, a vegan CONSUMES NO ANIMAL PRODUCTS. Even normal lacto-ovo vegetarians would not consume fish oil. Why is that so hard for you to understand? Also, what’s wrong with increased veggie/fruit...

Vegan diets are nutritionally good for you, as long as you keep track of your vitamin and mineral intake, which is something that everybody should keep track of anyway. In fact, vegans live six years longer than meat eaters (on average). Also, why would I consume fish oil if I’m a vegan? I don’t consume fish oil even now.
